North American Immigrant Letters and Diaries brings you over 100,000
pages of letters, diaries and oral histories pertaining to the experience of
immigrants to Canada and the United States. Under the editorial guidance of Joel Wurl at the Immigration History Research Center at the University of Minnesota we've selected materials to cover all the major ethnic groups that immigrated to Canada and the United States. |
The collection also includes biographical essays by leading scholars, political
cartoons relating to immigration, emigrant and immigrant guides and an extensive
annotated bibliography of the sources in the database.
